Vienna welcomes He Feng and Lan Yun as giant pandas return

Vienna Zoo has reopened its giant panda chapter with the young pair He Feng and Lan Yun. The zoo says the two pandas were born in 2020 at stations of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda.

The handover also extended the zoo's cooperation with the China Wildlife Conservation Association for another ten years. The panda exhibit was modernized and expanded before the public opening.

For visitors, the return adds a major panda destination in Europe and gives LovePanda another strong location page linking profiles, maps, and official sources.
